Only 3 players on their practice roster??? Do they want to get better? I wonder if that's because it's a scouting issue or and SMS issue

I suspect money. Their gm could find enough guys - they might suck, but he could find some for sure.

That's brutal. Embarrassing, really. Just like how they only dress 2 QB's.

It's bad news for the league if the Argos don't clean the house this year.

Only three on the PR in part due to injuries or replacements.... Reaves was on the PR.

I know they had atleast a couple more pulled off. RB Amos Allen and DB Samuel Joseph ring a bell.

lol, BTW...... this is fan appreciation day against the Alouettes.... I wonder if the fans appreciate them back? :lol!

I wonder if part of the issue is cost of living in TO?

Players who are on the PR and are in Regina are way ahead of those living in TO.

Same thing for the non-starter Canadians who are on the bottom end of the salary scale.

When all the injuries from around the league hit their rosters there will be plenty of bodies to chose from to round out their PR. We alone would have to trim about a dozen guys i'd think.

Logic states that after 2 consecutive years of utter failure that the management portion of the team has to be sent packing.

I would suspect that changes will start after the game if there is any self respect to be had in that organization.

Unless the owners are going to give the organization away, no way is anyone going to look at purchasing in its present state.

next steps for the argos should be pretty clear; fire the entire front office...

If I was the Argo's owner, for starters I would:

1. Fire Rita - Hire new GM, improve scouting.

2. Cut Joseph - sign as many young qb's as you can this offseason (like Jyles)and have an all-out competition in camp for the starters job.

3. Immediately raid other teams practice rosters for talent, particularly o-line and receiver, and QB. We've had berquist sitting on our PR all year, Toronto has only carried two QBs - why why why would you not claim a player like this.

4. Don't trade any more draft picks.

The fact that the ownership wants to sell could delay or at least hinder the process of changing out the entire front office.

On the other hand, who would buy the team as it is now? Other than maybe Braley.

No to Robertson. He's older than Cates. I think he's 33 next season. That's a no-no.

Dorsey on the other hand is 27 next season, and a free agent.
