      Clemson is definitely doing something right. They have high graduation rates for the football program as well. Also, Kirk Herbstreit's sons are both going there as walk-ons. Swinney has built a great culture there.

                  I think Step 1 was convincing Herbert to stay. But yep, they need to beat Auburn to establish themselves as the team to beat out west.

                    Putting faith into a team for beating Auburn is a very dangerous game. Oregon returns a decent amount on both sides of the ball and got a better DC but until they solve their Washington and Stanford problems I'm still hesitant to crown them in the North.

                          Even during the Marcus years, there was always that one crap the bed game in the regular season. Now more than ever with Clemson and Alabama locking up two playoff spots before a game is even played, you can't have those losses anymore.
