  • AAF league loses coaches.

Less than a month from the start of their inaugural season, the AAF has lost some big name coaches to resignation. Brad Childress and Michael Vick have recently stepped down from their teams. Is this an indication of the health of this new league?

could be as simple as a health issue and I have yeat to see anything about Michael Vick resigning

edit found a rumor that says he will resign - which would suggest a problem with the franchise and yes great news for CFL

Childress is interesting. Not sure Mike Vick constitutes much of a loss.

Maybe Michael Vick is resigning because he is the latest Jones reclamation project.

Brad Childress article saying he resigned as head coach of the Atlanta Legends

Here is an article now saying Vick is still the OC for the Atlanta Legends.

Very real possibility. That seems more rasonable than a sign the AAF is already floundering. NFL teams have quickly been filling their HC jobs. It goes without saying the new HCs will quickly start to fill out their staffs. There will likely be a few more in the next week or three.

The coaches conference should be coming up soon, should it not? Looked it up, was from Jan 6-9 in San Antonio.

Vick would have excelled in the CFL in his prime?

Great idea! The problem with Vince Young was that he was still too...well, young. We need a QB with more experience; Get Vick on the horn immediately. You know who else would've excelled in the CFL in his prime? Kordell Stewart. Worth a shot.

if you look at the ticketmaster seats remaining for the teams it legitimately looks they havenít sold any tickets yet!
