    Hughes admitted to being intoxicated while in 'care and control of a vehicle'

    Fine of $1000 and loss of license for 1 year (minimum sentence for that crime at the time of arrest).

      As he should be. If he was not a rider ours and other fan bases would move on, but I imagine this will blow up once again.

            Maybe this has already been discussed but crossing into Canada with a DUI is much more difficult than the other way around.

                    He will just need to do some extra paperwork and will most likely be approved. There are a few players every year that need paperwork for convictions. They are usually routine in nature.

                      This should end a dumb decision by a man in the spot light. Ultimately this was a person like any other that made a dumb dumb dumb decision. He has owned up to it. Has been punished and should now be able to put it behind him. Hope he puts it behind him.
