    Getting our Christmas tree

We have decided this year we will be having a real tree instead of a fake one . Taking the family out to cut down our Christmas tree . Who all puts up a real tree ?

We had a real tree before we had kids and while I loved the smell, I didn’t love forgetting to water it and the mess the needles always made. Now we have a big pre-lit one from Costco that I love. We always take a day with the kids to set it up and decorate it, complete with Christmas music and treats.

We have some pine scented candles.

This tread keeps making me think of the Simpsons episode where Homer goes out and cut a Christmas tree down, it still has a bird house in it when they put it up.

No such thing as fake trees, at least in our neck of the woods.

While dodging the illegally parked vehicles at North Walmart yesterday, I saw their sign for $34.97. Oh wow - for a tree? Is this typical?
    That's pretty cheap.

    OK, I won't. I hate pines, though.
